Looking ahead

24Apr

The next couple of months are going to be a couple of full on ones for me so I thought I better let you know where I’ll be.

First of all tomorrow I’m heading down to Limoux for a couple days training in the hills to prepare the legs for the upcoming races.  Cyclist often talk about finding there rythm in the mountains.  For me its easier said than done but we’ll see how we go.

Then starting next week my program looks like this:

29-4 Tour of Romandie (Swi)

10-1 Giro d’Italia (Ita)

11 Dutch Food Valley Classic  (Ned)

19-22 Route du Sud (Fra)

By the end of all this I think I will be one tired lad, but I do feel better prepared this time round for these races so hopefully I will cross the finish line in Milan after a three week epic race.

Will let you know how it all goes.

 Tim

    Hey Timbo
Tom, Jerry and I were thinking we were pretty tough after a big-ass ride today, but after reading your website we have decided we need to harden up. Nice work Guddy – sounds like you are holding your own over there and some.
You would’ve laughed today – I made all the Invers crew go to the Anzac Service (which I thought was at 6.30am but discovered it was actually at 7am when we got there. Oops!)with the carrot being that I would cook breakfast afterwards, before we set out on an epic ride round beautiful Southland. Was mint rolling through the green farmland with no traffic and a substantial coffee shop stop of course. Hope you guys managed to do a little something to celebrate Anzac day.
I only have a couple of weeks left here before I head to the U.S.
Have fun in Limmers – you will have to have a cafe au lait at le Commerce for me. No Gold Member there now, so that’ll be sad!
    Take care bro
    Lotsa love DT
p.s big HEY to Pete and Sally!!
