A couple of stressful days in Holland…
01Sep
Hi everyone,
It’s Sarah here, Tim asked me to write a quick update for him as he has no internet in the hotel tonight…
He’s still hanging in there, the last couple of days have been pretty full on with plenty of roundabouts, traffic islands, bike paths and narrow roads to navigate on top of the full on racing, but he is feeling pretty good considering. Today was even more exciting as Greg Henderson (a fellow kiwi) won the stage!
Tomorrow is the last stage in Holland before everyone is flown to Barcelona just in time for the first rest day in Spain on Wednesday.
Tim will definitely get back on here in the next day or so.
Thanks for reading, keep the comments coming…….

Hi Tim!
I usually read your posts and I like them.I wish you to finish the Vuelta.
I also have a question:what about the other riders from your team?I’d like to read some posts from Casar,Le Mevel,Di Gregorio and of course from the others.I’m a fan of FDJ.They don’t have a website or a blog?
Thank you and good luck in the Vuelta!
Tim,
What the hell was going on in that fourth stage .. it looked like absolute carnage.
I sincerely hope you stayed upright.

Go Tim! Keep up the amazing work.
Take care both,
Rach.
Dear Tim,
We (my son and me) wanted to thank you for your gift after the vuelta ride from Assen to Emmen. My son (a BIG fan of cycling) ask you for your Signature. You stopped near the teambus and give him that en then you pulled your cap under your helmet en gave the cap to him. He did not expect this but was very happy with it. This made for him de vuelta even more special. He treasure’s it now.
So thank you very much for(maby to you a small thing but to him somthing special).
Greetings en good luck.
(we are still following you on tv in the Vuelta)
